Follow your video from upload to captions

Who this guide is for

Creators who have uploaded a video and want to know what happens next.

Prerequisites

• You have uploaded at least one video.

Step-by-step instructions

Where to find it: Videos › <video title>

Open your video

1. Select Videos in the app menu. Each video shows its length, upload date and status.
2. Select a video to open its page.

Read the status

The steps at the top of the video page show where your video is: Uploaded, Price ready, Captioning, Review, Done. The status label means:

1. Uploading: the file has not finished uploading.
2. Ready to pay: the length and price are known. Select Pay and start captioning to pay and start the work. See the guide "Pay for a video".
3. In line: payment is received and your video is in the queue for captioning.
4. Captioning: your video is being transcribed and translated. The page lists each step and updates by itself.
5. Ready to review: your captions are ready to read through.
6. Done: captions are finished.
7. Needs attention: something stopped the video. The reason is shown on the page.

Check the language

The Language panel shows the language spoken, the dialect and the caption language. A dialect we worked out ourselves shows (detected). Dialect not identified is normal for short clips, videos with a lot of music, or dialects that sound alike; it is not an error.

Important: When your captions are ready, download them from the video page. See the guide "Download your captions". The caption editor is being added; until then Review captions is shown but not yet available.

Expected result

You can see the status of every video and, while captioning runs, each step as it finishes.

Common questions / troubleshooting

Do I need to keep the page open while captioning runs? No. You can close it and come back later.

My video says Needs attention. Read the message on the video page. If the file was damaged, select Upload again. Otherwise email support@incluve.me with the video title.

Where is the price? On the video page once the status is Ready to pay, under Check the price and pay.
